At Cendyn, we prioritize the privacy and security of our users’ data. In the event of a law enforcement request for user information, we adhere to the following principles:
- Legal Compliance: We comply only with valid and lawful requests from law enforcement agencies with jurisdiction, including subpoenas, warrants, and court orders.
- Transparency: We aim to be transparent about the requests we receive, as permitted by law.
- User Notification: Unless legally prohibited, we notify affected users about any requests for their data.
- Data Minimization: We only disclose data necessary to fulfill valid requests, striving to minimize the impact on user privacy.
- Challenge Requests: If we believe a request is overly broad or lacks legal merit, we may challenge it on behalf of our customers or we will work with our customers, where appropriate, to assist them in challenging the request.
- Regular Reporting: We provide annual transparency reports detailing the number and nature of law enforcement requests received.
